Help : Leader Tables
The leader tables are the most important part of the game. It is here that we work out who's doing the best, and who's challenging Nick Leeson for the prestige of losing the most money. Perhaps it's just as well that you can't lose real money in DreamShares!

The Overall Table is ranked by portfolio value. However, as players who joined earliest have the greatest advantage, we calculate a monthly table too (and a yearly one too in football). The monthly and yearly tables give players something more attainable to aim at. They are worked out by calculating the percentage increase in players' portfolios that month or that year. Pretty simple really.

Because there are so many players it takes quite a long time to work out the leader tables. Hence they are only updated once a day, sometime in the early morning (in the UK at least). This may mean that you are doing really well today but the leader table still has you well down. Be patient, and as long as your stocks don't turn turtle in the meantime your glorious rise to wealth will be captured on the next day's leader table. This also means that on the day you join you won't appear in the leader tables. Again, don't worry, get investing and wait until the next day.

In some of the leader tables, you may be able to add a player to your minileague by clicking on their name. If so, you will be told on the page.
