We do our best to provide accurate and timely football results. However, there are bound to be times when a result is wrong or missing, or it takes a while to update. We apologise for this, but assure you we are always working hard to make sure it doesn't happen. Unfortunately the cause of the problem often does not lie with DreamShares, and so is often beyond our control.

We also do our best to make sure that the football prices change sensibly according to the results. Despite what other players may have told you, there is no set rise or fall after a result - it all depends on the relative share prices of the two teams. Again, sometimes things may not quite go to plan. Please don't tell us if you think you have lost out because a team's wasn't changed by as much as you thought it deserved. There is nothing we can do as we can't manually change thousands of accounts and to change the team's share price is problematic as other people may well have bought into the stock after the game, in order to unfairly benefit from the rise, and others may have cut their losses and sold. With the price freezes, very occasionally a team's price will be frozen when it shouldn't, and sometimes a team's price won't be frozen when it should be. Again we apologise if this happens, but please accept it, sell your shares in that team if necessary, and concentrate on earning more groats somewhere else to make up for it.

Please remember that DreamShares is a game and though it can be annoying if time you spent trading is wasted, you are not losing any real money if there's a glitch. Also, remember that a lot of people will be in the same boat as you, so you are unlikely to be really losing out in terms of groats. We try and keep errors to a minimum, but with gigabytes of data, many hundreds of stocks and many thousands of players there's bound to be a hiccup from time to time. Even real stock markets have glitches, and their software costs millions of pounds.
