To buy or sell shares you need to enter the number of shares you wish to trade in the box below "Quantity". Then select the radio button next to 'buy' or 'sell' as appropriate. If you want to find out how much those shares will cost, click "How Much?" or "Calculate Payment". In Football and MultiSport a window will popup giving the cost of the transaction, whereas in F1, the boxes for value, commission and total payment will be filled automatically. Once you are happy with the values, click "TRADE" or "Trade Shares" to make the transaction. In Football and MultiSport you may also click "Buy Max" and "Sell All" which calculate how many shares you can afford to buy or sell. You will still have to click "TRADE" to make the transaction go through.
In F1 there is the added phenomenon of shadow shares. Shadow shares allow you to make money when a stock's share price is falling. However, if a stock's share price rises then they drop in value. Basically they just do exactly the opposite of normal shares. You can trade them just like normal shares, but sometimes there is a different value to them depending on whether you are buying or selling. This is due to the complicated formulae required to work out their value if you buy shadow shares in a single stock at different times. All you really need to know is that if you think a share has peaked or will fall soon, it's time to invest in the shadow shares. If you think the main price will rise soon, sell your shadow shares.
